Six months

Is almost enough time

To create

A new person.

Over two hundred

Should be enough

To garner some

Consistent, persistent, resistance.

Those on the road

To the nowhere

Somewhere

Elsewhere

The girls are now,

Didn’t they see?

Don’t they know

Something,

Anything?

Waiting with Patience for Goodluck

Has left a silence

Where answers could be,

And empty beds

Where girls could be.

If they were oil, they would have been found

But they are just girls.

Or they were when they were taken.

Six months

Is enough time.
